AutoCAD is mainly used for purpose of drafting. Which we use only 2 axes at a time. Perspective means viewing in 3D. Just imagine as you view some objects and Draw. One important thing is that Autocad can also be used to Draw in 3d ( 3 axes) but is called Isometric because all lines are parallel. ( all lines in y axis are parallel, all lines in z axis is parallel, all lines in x is parallel) But in perspective it need not be.

And technically speaking, perspective view is a three dimensional representation of an object. The projection lines from an object converge to a single point.Eg.Railway Tracks. If you look at straight long railway track, it appears to converge at a point. In real, the railway track doesn't meet, but it looks in that way.Perspective view is mostly used in architectural drawings to show the appearance of a proposed building. It is also used by advertisers to prepare the advertising drawings. And perspective views can be drawn in AutoCAD.
