If you can bring the Fus-ha Arabic back on the streets, you can bring back the proper English back on the streets.

these days people just wanna say " the thing " whatever that thing is as simply as possible with the least amount of time .

For me, I don't see the need for using proper English unless it is necessary. As long as you can express yourself by using the slan language and the other who you speak with understands it . then I don't see a problem . and in a way these slang words considered to be an identity for group of people, for e.x the british slang words are different from the American ones, so its kind of an identity .

Having said that, Although I would love to see the day where Fus'ha Arabic spreads on and makes people use it more often because it is so wonderfullll . Read the Quran and you will find how beautifull it is.

Have you ever wanted to look at proper English versus slang to compare the two? A good place to start is to explore what makes a word a slang word and compare the English word with its slang equivalent.

Slang Is Not Proper English

Slang words are not part of standard English.

  • They are considered informal and are used in various groups and certain situations.
  • Many times slang words are vulgar and not appropriate in certain social situations.

So when you are defining English versus slang, you would say that:

  • Slang is informal
  • Proper English is formal
  • Proper Standard English is understood by most English speaking people
  • Slang expressions may be understood by only a small fraction of the population.

It can't be rectified because it's a optional . If you don't want to use it you can just avoid it .

Well, in my humble opinion, This simply can't be "rectified". Because look at it this way; proper English words of today were the slang and informal lexicon of the past (sometimes way way in the past). So this is merely the nature of our time, we can fight it, we can condemn it, maybe even ban it, but it will take its course. Little by little some slang will worm its way into formal venues and speech and what has been been happenning since the dawn of time will continue to happen.Last thing; If you are against slang im not telling you to change your mind and love it, or use it. But when it comes -and it will-, accept it.
