Assets = Liabilities + Owners' Equity
Owner's equity is further defined by below equation
+ Revenues - Expenses + Gains - Losses + Contributions - Withdrawals
A useful accounting equation is Assts is equal to Capital plus Liabilty. In other words, the balance of an asset (Fixed and Current) on the Balance Sheet must be equal to that of Capital plus Liabilities.
Assets= Liabilities + owners equity

Fixed assets + current assets = long-term liabilities + short-term liabilities + property rights
The basic accounting equation is,
Assets = Liabilities + Capital
It means that all the monetary value of all assets of a firm are equal to the total claims, viz. owners and outsiders.
Total Manufacturing Cost = Direct Material + Direct Labor + Factory Overhead
