I do not believe that business control cannot be achieved without ERP. ERP just serves to move things a little faster and we can get any report at any time without wasting much time. While ERP play a predominant role in most of the institutions, its cost is very high. I would put it this way - without the involvement of the human resource, nothing is possible in any field.
ERP systems are indispensable for any business aspiring to grow and succeed in its business objectives. However, just implementing an ERP system will not guarantee success or growth. Various factors need to be analysed before implementing a suitable ERP system. Some of the factors to be considered are nature of business, size of the organisation, market segments, geographic coverage etc. There is no doubt that ERP will certainly improve the overall efficiency, productivity of manpower, better control & optimisation of available resources, and decision making for the management. Last but not the least, there will be certain improvement in the customer satisfaction, which is most important for any business to succeed.
ERP is essential for a well built organization to have optimized usage of their resources. It helps in doing analysis, taking quick decisions related to business, lesser paper works, improved performance and much more.
Any critical business decision must be well supported by numbers, trends, researches, comparisons, " Swot Analysis "...and there's no success in this endeavor without a reliable tool: ERP is simply indispensable!
