Which software is the most important for an electrical engineer?

In Construction Companies only MS Office.Auto CAD and MS PROJECT are more than Enough. But if you are with Consultant then you might need some other Software for calculating Lighting Intensity etc.

most softewar program according to whate the engineer need, if he deal with desighning prgram such as vesual program ,if he deal with power system he can used for example  Etap, if he deal with  maintenance machines he will depend on the software program that machien desinging for construction working network he need autocade and so on.

there is no important software or  course ,all it depend on where and what you do.

the most important is the software that meet your requirement to accomplish your activity.

AutoCAD, MS Project, and Primavera are the most necessary softwares for an Electrical Engineer.

ETAP software is very useful tool for electrical engineers. Others like CYMGRD useful too.
