bellow some of sql views advantages :

it could normalize data relations, so end user can get Understandable data.
through views you could increase securities, so end user get data as wanted by developer.
when designing a view, the definition of it will be stored on database then developers could not need redefine it, which make their jobs easier.
with materialized views, you could decreasing response time. also it might be used on transferring data to other hosts.
