weather Sap, Staad pro, Etabs, Prokon , Revit ...etc.There are a lot of options and preferable programs that employers require, and differ from country to another, what is the best structural engineering program to learn!
I PROPRABLY PREFER COMPUTERS AND STRUCTURES INTERNATIONAL(CSI) SOFTWARES.....(ETABS 2016,SAP2000,SAFE 2016,) OVER STAADPRO
REASONS....
1.CSI SOFTWARES ARE BASED ON STIFFNESS BASED LOAD TRANSFER MECHANISM WHICH IS IN REALITY WHEREAS STAAD PRO IS BASED ON GEOMETRY BASED LOAD TRANSFER.
2. STUNNING GRAPHICAL USER INTERFERACE
&&
FOR DESIGN OF STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS I PREFER RCDC & MIDAS
Sap 2000 is better for me
staad pro in the nearest to sap .
Universally STAADPRO is the only software preferred
FEMAP with NX Nastran solver offers a wide variety of analysis options, which are really user friendly. It also have good post processing optoins.
For reinforced concrete i.e beams, columns and slabs, ADC 8.4 works well, and for structural steel i.e portal frames, trusses GSA is the best I have ever used. Prokon does both of them
Most commonly used is STAAD Pro.
If it comes to the single software I would go for Staad Pro.
Currently MVC, Angular is best architecture in develoment .
I prefer working on CSI SAP2000 in the 2 dimensional analysis and CSI Etabs for the 3D dimensional analysis.
CSI Safe is one of the best softwares to analyze concrete slabs, CSI Etabs is recommended for design of columns, Walls and response spectrum seismic analysis
STAAD PRO scientifically is one of the best programs to analyse and design structural elemnts. CSI products have the best interface you can deal withand their accuracy is very good, too
