This is a very important question. First determine, how the new process affect Managers.

  1. Is the new process affect the comfort zone of Managers? Does it require frequent supervision by the Managers?
  2. Is the new process would require different kind of machinery or supplies?
  3. Is the new process require discarding exiting supply chain?

If answer to the above questions is "NO", then demonstrate the process, ask the managers feedback and propose solution  taking into the concern of managers.

If answer to any of the above question is "YES", please investigate and address  the issue first  and thereafter take action as proposed above.

You need to review your sales force first , do you have the right skills and people to do the job , do you need to train them , do you need to motivate them , then do the process and plans

Engage your team memebers or collegues into convinving them about your idea, allow them to advice you or constructively criticise your idea & collectively come up with the best idea & solution. As a team, create a pleasant dialogue & engage your manager into discussing various alternatives as you have come with in the team. He may find it difficult to reject your proposal if you politely approach them in a team. If their response is still negative, them let your team engage top management or senior managers into this proposal. Thanx for the invitation
