Best way to cool a customer is to tell him politely that in case he is not satisfied with suggestion or clarification of product we can still resolve buy moving foward the issue with the manager or management.

Who is right is not suppose to be in front of the customer. We must be able to give to some and take from some to balance the lost and gained.
