Major tropical parasites that affect only human are included in class sporozoa of phylum protozoa, class trematoda & cestoda of phylum and nematoda.

Some of them in the list are Entamoeba sp., Plasmodium, Trypanosoma gambiense, leishmania donovani, Fasciola hepatica, Taenia solium, Echinococcus.
