If you were a computer,
In Maths class, you'd use your CPU.
In History class, you'd use your RAM.
Lets imagine roads, bus and two buildings. Among the two building one is a retail shop + warehouse for both raw and processed material. The other building is a factory. And we are talking about bottled water packing.
Empty bottles are at warehouse > they go to the factory/plant using bus > get filled/packed > comes back to the warehouse again for sales through the store.
In this case the processing plant is CPU and the Warehouse/Store is the RAM.
And the bus going in between the two buildings as carrier of the goods is the System Bus which is not included in the question and makes the answer incomplete !
a CPU is designed to run programs.
So CPU is a processor designed to process general tasks and calculations.
In very short, the CPU is designed to execute (or transform) a set of inputs to outputs. It has a set instruction set it can execute.
And
RAM is the brain -- like you can only memorize a certain number of things (programs, data files, etc.)
cpu means central processing unit of between input and out
RAM means random axies memory
CPU is the central processing unit
RAM is the random access memory
CPU (CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT) It role is to process the command , how to execute when to execute all is done by processor. It like brain of system as the human brain works it work is same. And the RAM ( RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY) is the secondary storage device it store small amount of information required by processor to execute any command.
Random Access Memory (RAM) is a volatile memory that sends all the input data to Central Processing Unit (CPU) and CPU processes the said data. Once done, RAM generates the data to produce an output. That output would be the result from the computer that you have inputted.
For additional Information, RAM is only a temporary storage. Once the PC restarted, all the data will be lost.
