Public Transport is backbone of any country's development. Since UAE is pioneering in that will be a great step towards inter Emirate communication and development. All Emirates will be soon connected and people jobs also will not be confined to one emirate rather people can stay in one emirate and work in another. Hats off to UAE Govt.

I think its an amazing transportation methods, hence this methods still under focus study (prototype) the Space Exploration Technology Corporation ( spaceX) is the pioneer Engineer for this methods and they still developing it. so it's very early to judge it, but the concept is just mind blowing, 12 mins from Dubai to Abu Dhabi. , i think only time will proves if this methods is feasible or not.

While Hyperloop is innovative, it will also be cheaper than other transport options, with developers saying it will cost just 10 per cent of the cost of building conventional high speed trains.

The Hyperloop involves a low-pressure pipe linking two stations, and would allow passengers to travel at speeds of up to 1200 km per hour.

When presented in Dubai in February the plans for Hyperloop showed a bunch of small pods (rather than one large train) that would be on demand, leaving when you want to leave, and going directly to your chosen station.

Being a big fan of Tesla and automotive designs in general , I was somehow attracted to the idea of hyperloop and zero or close to zero resistance. Impedance is what kept us in the dark ages for very long time, this is the age of superconductivity and definitely it shouldn't be limited to the transport of electrons, we could extend the idea to include the transportation sector.

This is absolutely the future, a revolutionary technology. However, it is still not mature and I am not certain that servicing and maintenance will be that easy...
