If you're a business owner and nobody supports your decisions, what do you do?

I will organize a small meeting, will showcase in it my point of view and vision and will open discussion to see why and on what base they don't support my decision.

In end of the meeting we will reach a common ground and work from there

Although we are the business owner, we must realized that the success of any company lies with the people ie the staff. They are the one on the ground and at the fore front. Should the decision does not getthe support of o thers, I would revisit the decision. Was the decision made with staff input. If the decision affects the company, which it usyusally does, a brain storming meeting is appropriate to openly anf freely gather ideas, facts, comments, do a SWOT analysis to difest the issues and come to a collective decisiin. Staff should not feel left out in decision making. for the company to succeed and to move forward, all parties msut be heard. The survival of the company lies in each member being in the same boat to weather what ever the storm. An owner decision not necessaril means it the best one unless every one involved has an opportunity to share their views.

we will revisit  the idea together with the employees, do a thorough cost benefit analysis of the idea and if the benefits are more than the costs associated then it has to be implemented basing on an inclusive agreement of the team.

I'll simply say that if I'm supporting myself then no one in the world can put me down and if my inner self is not supporting me then no one in the world can raise me.

If nobody supports the decision, then there is obviously a critical error that has been made in the decision. I would get together with my team and discuss why they do not support the idea, what they believe could be done differently to gain their favour of the decision, and talk about how not to make similar bad decisions in the future. Team work is key, one member can get an idea stuck in their head, while a group has a larger accumulated set of skills and prior experience with which they can make more educated decisions.

try to understand what is the reason behind this issue is it about the weakness of your peronsality or its about your history ( wrong decisions made in the past ) or a gap of communications between you and your managerial team ( maybe there is no connection betwen you and them they see things different than you do ) if that is the case try to sove professionally try to speak with there language and explain your idea differently but if you think that your loosing control of your company because some of managerial team member are selfish and they dont care about the buisness than immidiate action should be taken to show everyone whos the boss and take over the control and managirial decisions and get it done in good way or in bad way .

People who don’t support you and discourage you may not actually be bad people who intentionally want to destroy your dreams.

Sometimes, they just don’t understand why you do what you do, so they voice out their concerns, which may make them seem dissenting.

I personally try not to take it seriously when people discourage me. I see it as they need a little education and explanation. Or sometimes, I just ignore them. Merely, Keep Going ..

The challenge is to make the all the staff buy into the vison and goals of the organisation thorugh good leadership and communication.

THe success of the company is built on the efforts of the staff so any key decision will need to be backed up by evidence and clear targets.
