Hi Sarah,
I still feel that if you have traditional forms of communication, especially in the workplace, you will build better, more meaningful relationships. With this in mind, face-to-face works best for me.
For simple, or quick requests, e-mail is efficient enough if there is no internal IM platform.
Depends,
If it is something I need to know instantly and is minor, then I would contact them via google hangouts instant messenger
If it something major or minor with no instant deadline and needs a file attachement then I would contact them through email
If is is something major such as a project idea, or needs more details then I would do it face to face.
At the work place, I prefer to have a face to face meeting/s and also share the same through e-mails in order to have it in records.
It depends if we need to communicate by email or face to face for long discussing. but the official and more professional is by email.

It depends, if it is any approval or change related to existing work flow than always do written communication. Also, inform through call if it is urgent.
Otherwise, In case of simple guidance face to face communication is also fine.
Yes I communicate with my co-workers daily given our remote locations. Also email, and skype are the most handy ways to get in touch with colleagues, so I believe for the digitally connected nature of our jobs, we just cant avoid such mediums!
laziness is one of the sign of poor work attitude, how will I overcome it? I will make my everyday a productive day like doing such thing that will make my work easy and faster.
All modes of communication is necessary. Skype, Hangout and Whatsapp are the favorite modes on daily basis - for long distant and isntant communication. Whereas traditional modes of correspondence are also used where records are necessary.
It depends in what content i am willing to meet my co-worker.
Work wise its always good to write emails.
Personally calls and meet up is more easy.
Working in a fast paced environment "oblige" us to be quick and sharp while completing daily tasks and to get the information we need without too much hassle. That's why many of us tend to use various online means of communication, just to be able to speed up the process and get work done without spending too much time walking to colleague's office. In situation of multi location online channels are vital means of communication.
However, face to face is still irreplaceable - might take time to reach someone, but allows personal touch where you can see someone's gestures, be able to discuss and solve potential issues while working on solutions of specific tasks.
Hi Sarah,
Thanks for the invitation..
Yes, In multi location work environment we need to communicate with the co-workers via Skype, e-mail, google hangouts & docs., Which will be more helpful for effective communication and to build results.
Thanks / Praveen
