A few years ago, we didn't know what 4G LTE technology was. Do you think we'll have 5G technology in the future?

I think there will be LTE advance which is 4,5G soon. But as far as I know about 5G it will be available by 2020.

I believe there are already some 5G networks in the US. I'm not sure where exactly as Idaho still has 4G. In Idaho it may be awhile for 5G because the geography of the state and almost half of the state does not ever get cell service.

5G will build on the foundation created by 4G LTE. It’s going to allow people send texts, make calls, and browse the web as always—and it will dramatically increase the speed at which data is transferred across the network. 5G will make it easier for people to download and upload Ultra HD and 3D video. It will also make room for the thousands of internet-connected devices entering our everyday world

Of course the improvement in the telecom science. I heard some talking that Korea achieved the new telecom system achieved the major of 5G standard.

5G Network will surely come into play. The demos are already under progress by several vendors. The question should have been what would drive the operators to go for 5G Networks. The current data demand is enhancing day by day! Real time HD buffering, high tech gadgets, 3D meetings and conferencing, 360 degree applications etc. are the areas which will place more pressure on the Telco industry in terms of of data demand from consumers. This is when, they have to decide going beyond 4G. But offcourse, the Economic development and GDP of countries will play major role as to which countries will be going for such high speed network.

The next generation of mobile network has a long way to go before it's a reality, but tests and plans are underway to set the terms for such an upgrade. In fact, they've been going on for years.

of course we will have a 5G in the future  but has a long way to go before it's a reality, there is a tests and plans are underway to set the terms for such an upgrade. In fact, they've been going

on for years

5G is a term used to describe the forthcoming fifth generation of mobile network technology

Right now, it doesn't signify any particular type of technology. While 4G has become synonymous with LTE, there's been no publicly agreed upon standard for 5G networks. However, a couple of likely technologies are emerging

The main quality of 5G networks compared to 4G will be speed. It's going to be many times quicker than what we have now, and by quite a way

5G Technology is on its way as the next Telecommunications standard next to 4G. Although there are still lots of ongoing research papers and projects , according to link below the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approved the spectrum for 5G, including the 28 Gigahertz, 37 GHz and 39 GHz bands. http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/news/2016/07/14/fcc-approves-spectrum-5g-advances/87081242/ It aims not only faster speed but also the plan to hold higher numbers of supported and connected devices, higher reliability of communications, spectral/bandwidth efficiency, lower latencies and other objectives or visions that are not existing or need enhancement from the 4G standards.

Definitely there will be a next Generation technology, but we do not know what it is going to be....
