There is an easy way to make the work environment more friendly. And is the use of the intimate atmosphere in the workplace.
For example, when I was a supervisor in the company "Galilee" for electrical work in Benghazi / Libya in, and even though I was strictly in the course of working with all the staff, but I developed a program outside of work and parallel to it to create a team spirit, which had a significant role in the create a spirit of seriousness and perseverance among workers.
First, collective dinner program. Is a dinner for all employees in the company and the number was people from the director and secretary and all the workers (the store official, driver, technicians and assistant technicians), once every two weeks in the house of one of them and the cost to the company's expense.
Second: Monthly exit program. All employees in the company by the atmosphere (sea in the summer, a mountain in the spring).
Third: B.s. development and training. All employees, every one according to his position and needs, for example, technical assistant developed to become an electrical technician.
There are other programs that help in giving a friendly atmosphere in the companies, such as (support and direct participation in the events, friendly visits in the cases of the disease .. etc.).

It is very difficult to make a human being like another. But it is not impossible.
I personally like to use the easiest way, is to use the law of "reflection" of the laws "subconscious", used and successful programs of the way (neural networks).
And it is simply the (world events surrounding human beings belonging to influence the inner world of him).
And while we know that the majority of people love to imitate a success, if you compliment an employee because of his diligence and perseverance (with attention so as not to turn into a creator of jealousy among employees), especially if you give that employee award or upgrade or add financial his work, it will make staff others try to imitate this employee and diligence and perseverance like him.
First of all, it is almost imposiible to "make" people like each other; secondly, I am not sure it's even desirable to do it, as you never know when you have to fire someone from the team due to cost cutting...it is a difficult decision as such, it's even more difficult when everyone "likes" everybody :).
However, what can be done is to create a pleasant enviroment at work, and make the people cooperate, respect each other and, generally, getting the job done at the maximum. In order to achieve that, there are many things you can do: organizing team-buildings and workshops, or (much cheaper and just as effective) just dinners with the team with a certain regularity, or just grant prizes as "best colleague of the week/month", for the one who helped the colleagues...generally speaking, whatever has not visible relation with the work itself. The goal is to have people knowing each other, communicating one to another, interacting, in order to erase or, better said, smoothen, the tension that unavoidable ocurres sometimes.
If you get an answer to your second question you eliminate all conflict in the world Zain. I don't think you can make people like each other but you can make them respect each other in the work place. As far as making the work enviroment more friendly you could try something like employee recognition or start a tradition in the work place. At my last place of employment there was a department of all females (not saying females don't get along as well as males) that constantly bickered amongst themselves over trivial matters. Their manager brought two of the employees into her office and asked them how they could make the atmosphere better for everyone who worked their. They came up with a new tradition where they bought a plant and gift card to a local restaurant and each week the group would decide as a team who did the most to help thier co-workers that week and that person was given the gift card and the plant to keep on thier desk for the next week.
