What is known about the Contractor's Daily Report and what does it contain?

daily contractor report in include execution of t project % , production per that specific day , outstanding problems and their solution if any , supply issues, obstacles that delay the project , materials issued per balance per demand per lead time , activists carried out in brief , cost / pity cash issued , cost , payments required with execution percentage

simply its a site summary sheet that include but not limited to the following:

1-total number of site teams ( managers,engineers,staff,supervisors,labors,safety,security ...etc.)

2-list of on going activities in all disciplines ( earth work, civil,  MEP ,finishes ) and some times progress %

3- list of equipment , subcontractors

Daily site report should provide status updates on site progress and daily safety on fixed formats provided by project manager in collaboration with planning and safety department. Fixed formats is useful in containing the content required and officially communicated for reasons of baseline plan, cost tracking, audits requirements and parameters which can be compared across similar projects for greater efficiency in resource allocation and action plans on schedule variance if any

Contractor's Daily report is a document that should tell what he has done on a particular day. Daily report which is normally generated from the site is a written communication between a contractor and project management office about the progress of the work at site or the issue/s that are tackled on the specific date of the report.
