Nowadays teachers suffer greatly in classes to engage their students and attract their attention to learn effectively. A lot of strategies can be implemented to answer this issue, but we need to know some viable strategies from you experiences to be used in classrooms.
According to researchers and experts (a)connecting activities with students' previous knowledge and experiences highlights the value of an assigned activity in personally relevant ways. Researchers have found also that (b)effectively performing an activity can positively impact subsequent engagement.(c) When students working effectively with others, their engagement may be amplified as a result. (d)High-quality teacher-student relationships are another critical factor in determining student engagement.
Make It Meaningful. In aiming for full engagement, it is essential that students perceive activities as being meaningful. Provide Autonomy Support. Embrace Collaborative learning, Establish Positive Teacher- Student Relationships.
Students will learn effectively if the teacher implement various ways and strategies to learning.
1.Teachers must not show favoritism among students and that everyone must be given a chance to speak relevant to the subject matter.
2.Teachers must be flexible regarding activities as there must be continous process, knowledge and learning must not stop.
3.Teachers must not stop learning regarding his craft, there must be breakthrough and update regarding the subject he teaches by professional development, trainings and seminars.
