The difference between the two is that accident is an incident and Incident is not an accident. Any event is called incident and if you break down the incident you may categorize it as Accident, Property damage, Near Miss and Reputation Impact.

I think you meant to ask, "

What is the difference between Incidents and accidents?

Incident – An unwanted event which, in different circumstances, could have resulted in harm to people, damage to property or loss to a process. Also known as a near miss.

Accident – An unplanned event that results in harm to people, damage to property or loss to process.

Otherwise your question is unclear and the only difference is one is singular and the other is plural events!

i hope this is what you meant?
