Whenever you open your Facebook news feed, the majority of the posts that you see are video related.
Do you think Facebook is slowly becoming more like Youtube or do you believe it's still an independent social media website unlike anything else?
Facebook is building an all-in-one platform that benefits both users and brands but it will never reach the level youtube has but if you compare Facebook to Google they are doing the same thing yet people think youtube is a spearate social media platform while it is part of the google sphere
I don't think it is going to be like YouTube.
Facebook is a social media platform that has been building its own video hub, while YouTube is more like a video hub with content management system that allows enagagement with creators and it has been building a community forum.
Facebook and youtube have different business model.
No, The consept is different
mark zakerberg make and create facebook app beacuse pak facebook server slow then youtube app and chennelyoutube is a larg platform applicatiomn many people used this application also guid people sudy and trick by video support
I think Facebook is different from youtube though both platforms have a lot of similarities in terms of delivering messages to wide range of audience. Youtube has only one way on displaying its content which is videos only but facebook has a lot of ways by addingd pictures, videos, links ... it is more of a platform that gives people the chance to interact with one another.
Youtube and Facebook are completely independant mediums with increasing similarities. I do not think that Facebook is becoming like Youtube because both the platforms serve completely different purposes. Facebook has gone way beyond video content; for example, as soon as we scroll down our newsfeed we get to see the auto-played videos because it is the best possible way to engage with the audience. Facebook has almost become a live channel with its 'Facebook live' option. The platforms intends to combine both video, individual profiles and content altogether. However, Youtube on the other hand is a video king that offers the best possible videos ranging from entertainment to sports to news.
It's important to know your target audience and understand that all people are different. As such, people have preferences when it comes to viewing content such as videos. YouTube is about content creation whereas Facebook is about content sharing. The platforms are utilised differently in the same way that content on these platforms is consumed differently. YouTube allows for subscriptions and a provides an excellent hosting platform for a company to host a series of videos, particularly handy for marketing. Facebook, however, offers a more personable platform and word-of-mouth sharing/advertising. Content from YouTube is more likely to be shared on Facebook, and not vice versa.
Not at all, YouTube is the #1 video sharing platform, if anything, YouTube is becoming the new TV.
YouTube also is the second search engine after Google. Facebook videos are improving however, but it can't beat the algorithm that YouTube has, the subscription box, the content creators' community that we have.
No, YouTube is Database Search Engine, Entertainment Portal, Information Portal, Advertisement Portal, Business Revenue Portal, Products Launch
but
Facebook is Connecting Portal, Chatting Portal, Information Sharing Portal these two Portal are Social Networks that only is similar.
