The role of the HR person is to work hand in hand with the organization and the employees to reach one goal. To filter the culture of the organization to the employees, to bridge he gap.
Thank you for the invitation
I agree with colleagues answer
being HR manager you should have to motivate employees even if management is not giving any rewards. should also divert authorities attention towards the need of appreciation and rewards to the employees from your side maintain balance between both.
the fact in some cases this happen and difficult for the HR person to let the work go on or to see that employees work for long time.but in that condition your attitude as HR should be soft and polite.be friendly with them. gain their faith this will definitely work out
First of all, I do not believe such a company exists. I find hard to believe there's a manager who says (and actually means what he is saying) "I don't care if the good employees are leaving the company". So, each and every company has a sort of strategy regarding HR. But, indeed, some companies/managers do not have a very modern and effective vision upon this matter. In such companies, people are stiil getting hired (or fired), they go on medical leave or on holiday, etc. So the HR person should have at least this administrative role, to take care of all the day to day aspects (recruitment, work contracts, job descriptions). Further more, in my opinion, a good HR manager will permanently try to bring new solutions to change the strategy into a more modern and effective one. Generally speaking, each company with more than 50 employees needs a HR specialist. For less than 50, probably a person dedicated full time is not needed (the role can very well be fulfilled by the general manager or someone with multiple functions inside the company), but over 50 at least one person is needed, and that person should be a specialist.
HR means a strategy that focus on the human capital of an organization which mean how to attract competent employee, how to develop, how to retain, how to derive benefit package so as to create enabling environment for competent employees. The HRM Manager/ Specialist were the one who has concern on overall activities of human resource in which reward system is one of it. As a strategy a reward has to be the issue of any organization so as to retain and create job satisfaction. A reward has to be in the form of monthly salary or giving recognition for hard workers. As a salary an organization has to set the worth of any job based on the complexity & difficulty & revised it as per the regulation of the country or organization if it is governmental or public organization & revisit the net value of money. A reward system might be giving recognition in the form of certificate/ gift. it help to improve the culture of the organization & motivate competent employees. A reward system most be part of organization culture. All these are the duty & responsibility of HRM Manager/ Specialist because the CEO /Deputy of any organization has a concern on strategic issue of the organization though maintaining the human capital of the organization is part of strategic plan of the organization.
H.R. management is a wider resource-centered concept. It deals with resources and policies. The role of H.R. person is to carry out the H.R. policies for the benefit of the organisation and the employee.
