ARCHITECTURE has walls/doors/roof/floor/window/sections/details/construction/schedules features plain AutoCAd does not, all geared towards those in the ARCH industry.

Plain AutoCAD is aimed at no one and has none of these abilities built in: it doesn't know a wall from a line for example, or a door from a widget.

Depending on your needs, you may require more features within AutoCAD specific to design & documentation. AutoCAD Architecture has all of the features that AutoCAD has, plus the addition of tools designed for Architects to enhance the workflow of construction documentation.

AutoCAD is used to convey design intent, by utilizing LinesArcs and Circles, to illustrate the design.  But in AutoCAD Architecture, lines, arcs and circles are replaced by intelligent walls, doors and windows, known as AEC ObjectsNOTE: AEC Objects are not backwards compatible, and just because you can save back an AutoCAD DWG file from, say 2013 format to 2010 format, you cannot save back AutoCAD Architecture components.

AutoCAD Architecture has all the 2D drawing tools of normal AutoCAD plus a a bunch of 3D parametric tools for drawing walls, curtain walls, windows, roofs, slabs etc. Parametric doors and windows can be placed in host walls where the openings are automatically created - similar to Revit. Architecture also includes mass elements, which provides a bit more functionality than standard 3D solids. If you are planning to do some AutoCAD 3D, then I would recommend Architecture.

There is no big difference but AutoCAD has many features already comparing with AutoCAD Architecture which may have some extra software for last touches which may be not so important at all.

ACAD is a great technology and simplify ideal for drawing geometric which has entered all areas of design, analytical and creative engineering departments Every architectural engineering was his biggest find AutoCAD span in the design, analysis and planning processes

We can work with ease walls and elevations and elevations, doors and windows .... etc quite easily this program and high speed provides the time and effort
