Yes, because sometimes when a company wanted to employ, information will start from human resources department, most co-workers will not be aware of it, to inform people outside there to apply but in human resources department most of them have a relative or friends that need a job, they will inform first to apply. Maybe after the date of application coming close to an end, even the last date of the application or after the company have choose people that will come for the interview, they will know give it to notice of people or publish it out. But if a social media websites create a platform of applying for job through company's social media pages, all the people outside there will have the opportunity to apply for a job. We have many youth, graduate and people that willing to work outside there, dew to no connection to get access to companies, no good job or no job for them. yes , its a good platform for the companies as they get a larger pool to recruit from also due to advanced technology many candidates look for jobs through social media as its easy to access.
