How to select or create a component in hysys which is not present in the component list?

A component that is no present in the hysys database can be created as an hypothetical component. To create a hypo component, atleast two of the following parameters are required - molecular weight, normal boiling point and ideal density.

adding  manually or by using temp and pressure

we can use hypothetical component if we know Pressure, Temperature or boilling point

It can be done by either entering hypo components or directly go to the oil manager tab to input crude assay with their respective average physical properties like boiling point, density etc.

It can be introtuced as a hypothetical compound by identifying two or more of the essential characteristics, molecular weight, boilinig point, denisty, pressure

I have the same issue with biomass definition in HYSYS. Anyone to help please?!

You compensate for work with another component and components so that the result is the same as the result of the missing component

We can use Hypo Manager within HYSYS' simulation basis and define the component based on molecular weight, and properties we know.

by using temprature & pressure or by manual operation

Create a hypothetical component by providing known properties. Density & Normal boiling point stands important for hypothetical component.
