New world is paperless world. unless until we teachers are updated how come we will teach our students. So we need to update ourselves with day to days knowledge with the computers and deliver the best to the students.
We need to adapt ourselves to the needs of our students. Students nowadays live on technology!The most simple way to convey a message/a lesson to modern kids is via their preferred mean of communications.
I believe that for us to bring out the best in our students, classes need to be done using ICT; PowerPoint, online notes, using a blog for questions and answers, videos and clips on concerned topics. Using technology might also be a good way to trigger their attention and love for the subject and might get them to be devoted to studies.
A good question. Learning is a continuous process and todays slogan for teaching is to be Student Centred approach and not teacher centred approach. Role of teacher is to guide students to do research and work with their fellow students as a team. It is therefore important for a teacher to be ahead of the students so that you are able to give them all assistance as and when required. Students have access to internet to explore information. it is therefore important for teachers to be in forefront and give them necessary tips and also answer their queries and ensure the students are on the right track of learning. There are students who are gifted and will go an extra mile too and therefore we ould also be updated with the digital world as this is the need of the hour.
