What will you do if you face my situation?

I woud like to share something  have been bothering me in and i dont want it to do any more, please give me your opinion to best behavior i should have done to avoid this next time :

I start working in my current job last year (-jun) the first nine month was like hell for me , i had the worst experince in my working life and all of that happend because of one pearson, she was my superviser or team leader (if it is correct to name her that) it all start at

the scond day for me at the work she mocked me because of the way i look i mean i had a decent look but i think that was not enough(she maybe want brad pitt) in that moment i had done bad decision which is to ignore her mocking as i really needed the job back then so bad ,but in reality i felt so bad becouse of that ,after all i cant change what god gaive to me . 

i was optimistic and thinking i coud make things works with time and show her my true value   . 

And again i was wrong even i work so hard she was  loading alot alot of task my back but i never break or give up i was looking for reasons solutions and ُventually all my efforts came back empty and she kept pulling on me lacking all of work ethics, 

the big hit she gave me was the day of performance review in the end of the year  i was pissed off but i keep my nerve, even when one day she yelled at me in front of other employees, the review was not justic at all. 

I immediately asked for a transfer for other team which i am really happy with .

i never retarin the insult with insult , this is just the way i been reised either is my ehtiics.

at the end this was my experince for last year i hope i learned a good lesson and let go all my bad feelings.
