Employee's personal issues must be addressed in a certain stage, because an employee can perform well if he/she would be relaxed with his own or personal matters, otherwise it will reflect badly on his/her performance as well as company's functions too!.
what kind of personal issues, if an employee is mentally unstable, it can turn a company upside down. But if he's in a bad marriage this is totally his own problem.
The company can measure mental stability through various psychological tests that can show a social problem which is a major problem among employees, they also can use a training period where employees' actions can be observed from a distant to locate any instability or awkward behavior.

There is no doubt that the employees of the company issues affecting negatively and yes, on the company, so the company should you search well when you set any employee included not be attractive to the problems.
Most of the employees working for survival especially in gulf countries. When they get the job they adjust their personnel problems like distance from residence to office, family commitments, flexibility to work on late hours, education and job profile etc. While offer/accept job, understand and accept. We have to accept the people and situations what they are.
