Well for me, you have to be true to yourself accompanied with good attitude and hard work. Never pretend to be someone else or to do things beyond your capabilities in order to help the company. As we always say, honesty is the best policy.

Set development and introductory goals and communicate daily, weekly and monthly with employees. Make sure they are meeting the required Output. Coaching and Counselling them. 

First of all, make the enviornment good where the newly joined employees get comfortable, once they get comfortable then they feel easy to do their work. To boost up their moral make the attitude positive towards them. If something which they are not able to do that then dnt degrade them encourage and help them. Dnt try to loose their confident.

Ask them how is everything going(weekly twice). if they have any issue they will open up, also you get to study that person and this will lead way to boost their moral.
