The subject is very rich for good experiences and lessons from experience

Generally speaking, I would consider the following important in good team management

 

  • Team Building:  with the necessary numbers of people and the right caliber people based on what the team is supposed to do, and what roles/functions exist in the team for the different team members
  • Early/Timely Involvement of the team members to allow for them to partiticpate actively in the work in good timing
  • Effective Ongoing communicatios: between the management and the team,and between the team members themselves according to actual work requirements
  • Clear incentive/reward system : to motivate and compensate the team members for their good execution.
  • Timely/Prompt action : on any issues, concerns or problems that arise and affect the team members and their work.

I hope this is of help to consider from the beginning !!
