Well, I would say something about business which will be affected, any customer many time you display the product online, or sent brochures online to buy it, still he will have to visit showroom, salesman will brief him, about the product, and a test of its use so to make him assure of what they are selling.
Without seeing and using as demo, touching a product I won't go for it online, by doing so and salesman, brief me about all of its features so I would make a firm decision then.
- I think they will be working like sales adviser for visitors that will use new technology like apps in their tablets using TVs, projectors to describe product features to visitors- Maybe they will guide people to try and use demo products live. - Maybe will be available for any questions from visitors
Samsung and big brands in mobile industry as example wont close their show rooms, as example in Cairo, maybe will reduce number of it, maybe sales persons will be little number, maybe they will get training for promotions, demonstration, tech features for products to work as adviser more than direct sales working to achieve sales targeti think they will help people to answer the hard questions: what the best device for me ? mobile 5 inch or tablet 7 inch, new digital camera or smart camera, or DSLR camera will fit my needs ? these questions need a smart adviser to answer it based on visitor Another Example: if visitor need to test Samsung VR, Who will help visitor to choose best app based on his age and interests ? i think job title and functions will be developed in next years.
