I'm confidently able to add my humor to my serious personality in a way that make employees motivated to work with me
Humour at the workplace is good to releive some of the work pressure. However joking all the time can have its negative impact with people still willing to take lightly matters of concern and leadership unless you have proven to your team the repercsussion of being taken lightly at grave moments.
No I dont.
It is good to have humor but everything has it limitations, ofcourse you need to be serious when it comes to work and also the social bonding in order for staff members not to take you to easy.
You Must Not Joke all the time, but must have a sence of humer to keep the humain relationship
There has to be Humour at work place to releive the work stress & get ready for the assignment. This need to be situational & balanced. Joking all the time may lead lack of serious ness in the employees.
Everything has it limitations. You can make jokes and be serious in the same time. Humour can be a part of the personality.
Sense of humour is part of the art of leadership, of getting along with people, of getting things done. Laughter and play are essential component for resilience. When it comes to leadership in complex times, a sense of humour ranks up there with strategic thinking and superb communication skills.
A certain amount of levity always creates a more efficient working environment and establishes a boss/ manager as an approachable individual. But a definitive line has to be drawn between being a comedian, a buddy and being a leader.
Not all the time, because that would not be seen as a leader quality, but rather make such an environment around you that you dont need to joke with everybody all the time.
Joking at times to relax the team is good but not all the time. Set examples to deliver.
I consider the manager who is able to joke with his employees and still always will be in control is a real leader
