Open the Word document you want to apply different borders

Click the “View” button, and then choose “One Page

Click the “Insert” tab, select the “Text Box” button on the ribbon, and then choose the first option, “Simple Text Box.

Drag the text box near the top corner of your Word document, but take care to stay within the margins

Drag the edge of the text box over to the right and down so it takes up as much of the page as you want

Click the text box to open the orange Text Box Tools tab and ribbon. You will not see this tab or ribbon

Click the “Shape Outline” menu. Here is where you get to format the border. Choose one of the colored

Right-click the border once you’re satisfied with the formatting,  and then choose “Copy.” Right-click

Click the border to bring up the Text Box Tools tab again, and then change the formatting using the Shape Outline menu to apply a different border

Add additional borders as desired, and then save the document
