I NOT ADVICED TO PATCH THE EYE , I am afraid of aditional infection with anirobic bacteria , otherwise adviced to use proper antibiotics , plastic eye sheild , cyclopentolate eye drops , and ointement at night .

If it's not deep , no patch , because in can get a fungus ulcer also, wich will complicate more the case, just antibiotics and lubrication will do just fine.

It depends on how much the corneal ulcer is deep. In case of very deep ulcer the patient complains strong pain, brightness and watery eye, I suggest the occlusion by patch, antibiotic ointment and cyclopentolate then.

If the ulcer it's not deep no patch antibiotic drop and cyclopentolate during the day and antibiotic ointment in the night

eye patch are not necessary, to my knowledge no study had shown a superiority of eye patches to accelerate healing versus patients without eye patches.
