Which is the best UTM device/hardware available in the market?

Fortigate as it is economical and includes all security features; at least basic

As per my personal experience, Sophos is the best UTM for up to 2500 users.

First of all choosing the UTM firewall depends on many factors like  Size of your network, Type of traffic passes the network, Published services and Features you need (IPSec, VPN, etc..),In addition to budget allocated.

There are many types and brands that you can choose from (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Cyperoam, etc..).

To know the best make a check list of your requirements and compare the products based on this list, then you can decide which one is the best for you, but don't forget to compare price against budget .

but the Check Point UTM-1 Total Security Appliances is the best because conatain  Firewall .AntiSpam ,IPsec ,VPN  ,Getaway

Actually it depends on the market itself in which country not just the size of the network andthe business

For example when i was on Turkey there were Famous UTMs like Palo Alto-checkpoint etc

at the same time other vendors are only available in Egypt like : Cisco and Juniper only then later the other products are found on Egypt two years available later in the market

so there are two rules when selecting UTM :

First you can find a mix of UTMs on large organization to make benefits of the advantages of each product .

Second There is a policy constraining the sell of products in each country not just related to economy but sometimes related to politics 

I've experimented with more than one ,so all UTM Products is good but who the best , the best is sophos XG utm because contain :

1. simply manage firewall.

2. advanced protection kept simple .

3. On-box reports included as standard ( this is very important point ).

4. Endpoint protection ( antivirus,anti malware ,anti spam ....)

It depends on the network design and traffic,etc.

Dell SonicWall NSA Series and Fortinet FortiGate for me 

 

Fortinet is better Cyberoam is weak UTM

It is very dependant on your requirement But for short Fortunately has very nice specs and features and it is easy to implement and manage but it isn't the most stable solution Checkpoint is very good but a bit pricy and there isn't a good partner in the region with enough expertise Juniper SRX is very stable and configuration wise very resilient but you need trained staff because you'll need CLI , Thier GUI isn't good and it lacks features Cisco fireamp is somewhat good but very pricy and they have quite a few bugs to work out Also remember to buy an dedicated SSL decryption device Some of these appliances have built in SSL decryption capabilities but they are almost always undependable I recommend bluecoat/netronome Always ask for a POC you'll be shocked how bad some of the equipment out there turns out to be when put to the test

SonicWALL and Fortinet

PaloAlto no doubt is the Winner but a bit expansive but it depends on your budget and needs.

you're not going to purchase 5000$ locker for securing 100$.
