What do you think makes a great web developer?

Mainly, organization. For instance, having a folder with previously made components that are useful for most projects is efficient and helpful. 

Developers need to be more than code-generating grunt workers.

Developers need to be better in two ways: breadth and depth. They need to understand the breadth of human interactions in their team and with the things they build.

• Googling for 'essential web development skills' brings up what you'd expect. Framework knowledge, x-browser, CSS and JS. They list frameworks you should know, platforms you must be writting for and new trends you should be keeping an eye on.

• Developers without production knowledge more often produce code that isn't suitable for production, by using configuration or features not yet on the production stack. Because they aren't aware of the problems of the production environment, they code to complete the feature rather than to deploy it to production.

good concept mean good analyzing and a chive system goals and you will seen that for customer satsfication about your soft

In my point of view,

1. Problem solving - Finding out the issues in the application and applying optimal solutions

2. Learn new technologies and adapt to changes

3. Understand the requirements and domain

4. Avoid complexity in both presentation and design

5. Be organized

6. Be a team player in all sense.

Either it be a web development or any other development, PROBLEM SOLVING is one skill that makes you great and stand out. Knowing new technologies or new frameworks won't help you much unless you solve problems with those knowledge. So, learn a new framework/knowledge and try to solve a problem with that. Keep solving problems and grow higher.

I think keep learning new things, keep an eye on new technologies and upgrades whether you are an open source developer or a Microsoft developer and specially keep coding instead of keep watching tutorials.
