Are you a member in any organization or professional club? My question is: What are the organizations and clubs can join them as a programmer?

I think:

Software Houses (Software development farms) are the best option to join as a junior programmer.

As a senior programmer, you can also join large organizations (Any type of company needs development).

There are no such organizations but yes there are communities which you can join as a programmer beginner/expert.

Communities like alfresco, Bayt, stack overflow, Hp community,etc. not only helps you to get solutions but at the same time helps you to sharpen your technical skills and coding skills. Since, on such communities you are actually understanding the issues with the code that someone else has coded and accordingly you are providing them solutions and helping them.

The more regular you are available on such communities the faster you will develop your skills.

i think every organization and club needs a programmer where computer and network do use. Consultancies software houses etc needs a programmer.
