Going to college and becoming rich and successful are two unrelated things, not wholly but to a large extent. Hundreds and thousands of people do not go to college but they are rich and successful in their businesses. The history of large-scale university education is not as old as is the history of rich and successful people. Colleges have mushroomed in the developing world only in the last six decades, so, do you want to say that there were no rich and successful people in the developing world before university education times? Most of the kings and warriors were illiterate or semi-literate; most of the business people were illiterate, and so were the general populace. The ones who were educated were rather poor (scholars) and ill-fed. Knowledge and wisdom are two different things. One can be wise without going to a college too. Today we go to college to get knowledge which is required to earn our livelihoods because most of the jobs are based on the knowledge you gain through college education. If you are wise enough to gain knowledge and utilize it to build a business empire even if you are a college drop-out, you are rich and successful. Zuckerberg, Gates and Jobs have created business empires; they have invented nothing new; they have used the existing technological innovations in a wise manner to build businesses. The scientists who invented those technologies may not be so rich, though they are successful. If you think you can also do that, leave the college and invest your talent in building a business empire based on available technology. Good luck.
James Watson, Gordon Moore, Ronda Stryker and Stephen Hawking are scientists rich and successful
So why should I not go to college?
Very well then, don't go to college.........................
Actually education is not only for earn money but also to acquire knowledge. By education large source of knowledge is opened before us, all are not using it in the same way. All are not similar. Some have potential to get into success with out college education, they may get educated by different ways like observation, discussions, reading etc like persons mensioned above. But majority of people need a base to establish themselves. So college education is necessary to build a succesful young generation.
Of course not everyone in this universe need a college degree to be successful , there are many out there have achieved their dreams by starting their own businesses or by inventing something( in medicine or sciences) accidently. Having a college degree to get a job is essential in a genera view, it's sort of a standard to organize the world systems and to encourage and spread education and equality.
They learnt entrepreneurial skills from the University of Life. However, their lessons from life should not discourage others pursuing education in colleges and universities. Learning from life and colleges should not be mutually exclusive; rather they should be complementary to each other.
There would be no Zuckerberg, Bill Gates nor Steve Jobs if there were no educated people to do the jobs for them.
THEY ARE RICH AND THEY ARE SUCCESSFUL
BUT IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU ALSO WILL BE RICH ALONG WITH SATISFACTION AND WILL ALSO GET ANY LUCKY CHANCE WITHOUT DEGREE.... U MUST HAVE SOME SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE TO AVAIL ANY LUCKY CHANCE OF YOUR LIFE IN FUTURE.
SO GO AHEAD TO STUDY ..... MAY BE IT WILL ADD TO UR lUCK
You should go to college because success consists of going from failure to failure with out loss in strong feelings. So try try again.
