Be different.
I know everyone is influenced by their mentors or a famous designer that they admire. But keep in mind that you do not represent them and as a designer (an Interior Designer) you need to have your own sense of style, your own approach, and your own roots. Everyone started at the bottom, in these rough times, you can start with any position in a design studio then work your way up. And make sure you work on your portfolio as you progress.
In my own personal experience, design studios look at your experience and not in your diploma.
In any job hunt it is critical to have a unique detailed curiculum vitae as a starting point to give the potential employer the apetite to include you in their sellection process and hopefully move to the next part of the process. The curriculum vitae should be registered with as many employment agencies as possible to increase the strike rate. Interior designing is an art. That being the case, it is critical for entry level designers to ensure uniqueness and creativity in every project they do to create a pool of references and network as they grow in their trade. Previous works are good advertisement for any interior designer and are an important aspect of the selection process. The best man always wins the job usually through networking and referals.

Training & Exposure
In rough times, be ready for an opportunity, always get experiences to be ready. As Opera says: "I believe luck is preparation meeting opportunity. If you hadn't been prepared when the opportunity came along, you wouldn't have been lucky."
Should be loyal with ur work and dont compromise ur services what ever u deliver should be ur creativity.
My advise to the intry level designers to remain conected to the world networking connections
This is the era of specialization and the survival of the fittest rule applies these days . Try to follow this rule.
They should face fact and do what is going to benefit them rather than putting their mine on quality stuff that can demote you due to economic and social diversity of the state being
Focus on your work. Do not compromise on quality. Always keep learning new things. Expand your network, be socialise.
