by making them know they have more than it takes to do it. research has shown that motivation and positive thinking helps produce positive result. So its more about encouragement and enlightening them about how important the result will be (how successful it will be, the outcome)
Important aspect for performance and productivity. Excite and incite people for testing their limits
I suggest below points
# Show faith and belief in their abilities.
# Empower them by assigning decision making power (decentralise some power)
# motivate them, encourage them.
#Create healthy competitive environment
# Remove the fear factor of failing.
# Challenge them, run along with them.
# Reward and recognition
I would invite my collaborators to question any negative or stressful thought that they may have about their professional and personal lives and once questioned, let them decide if they require anyone else's idea of a challenge or limit.

Give them the ideas ( incite ) and encourage them to work on the ( new ) ideas to the best of their abilities & thanks for the invitation.
This can be done to impact or change their mindsets through regular tutoring, mentoring, training & development programs with a view of imparting the necessary skills & knowledge in them that would facilitate this endeavor. Once this objective is achieved, management should then provide them with the platform & resources to strive and ultimately support them in & through this exercise.
