There are a lot of interesting things in the translation field. Working in translation gives the translator a considerable knowledge in various fields (Technical, legal, medical, press, science, economy ...etc). Most importantly, translators learn new things and terms everyday; which in turn maintains their passion and zeal high. Translators don't feel bored of their job. Translators get delighted and high feeling of accomplishment when they find the right term in the target language... nothing is routine in their job... every single document is a new challenge.. and many other advantages that no one can enjoy except translators.

Well, I agree totally with Asim. Many people think translation is an easy work and they underestimate its value and the amount of effort and creativity that it takes to produce a good quality work. It provides you with good knowledge in so many different fields of life. It is an ongoing process of continuous learning. Every day you end up learning new terms and information. No day is similar to the previous one. It strengthens your memory enormously because you are always reading and writing. I guess the bottom line will be, if you love what you are doing and have passion for it, you will discover and uncover so many hidden things that others may not be able to notice.

It is interesting to know that translation is brain activity rather than a job. Whenever the brain switches between two languages or more, it stimulates intelligence and comprehension. Regards, Zainab

In my opinion, in addion to a high qualifications in translation, most of translators are in need of

more experience and knowledge of specific fields of translation in order to be a professional translator;

you have to select a specific field of translation which you actually can perform.

Thank you
