On the other hand, we know that social psychology and sociology share certain elements in their definition and that the birth of one has depended, in part, on that of the other. Initially, there was only sociology and psychology.

In my opinion when you study social science and work in the field with people, the group of people you deal with are probably a normal people with social problems, they are vulnrable people, while in the psychology field you deal with abnormal people.
Psychology imore in depth in dealing with human emotions, understanding the complexities of human nature and applying the right approach in treating individuals to become functional.
