Important Metrics for eCommerce Business are as follows:

Conversion Rate - This metric shows percentage of visitors who convert.

Average Order Value - Each time visitors convert they pay. AOV measures average customer spend per conversion or average basket value (size) per order.

Shopping Cart Abandon Rate - This metric measures percentage of visitors who abandon cart, who don’t go from point A through D

Revenue per Visitor - Revenue Per Visitor shows you average revenue each visitor is generating for your business over a period of time.
