Without Motivation ( Financially and-or Morally )  :

  • No one will work.
  • Achievements will be tasteless.
  • No management role be applied.
  • No Leadership - Leader role be applied.
  • No progress and development through team - organizations.
  • No one will stay at this organization, and we will face high turnover.

For me, motivation is the capability to someone ends tasks despite different situations he/she has. If work is hard, the employee has to have a motivation ( a better salary most of times, but also, health insurance, scholarship for their children). But if work is softer, the same way, they can have something to look and think "that is why i'm working here". A manager who is with his/her subordinates, that show them by the example, an work environment friendly, celebrations for certain step/project achieved.
