The efficiency of Social media depends on factors what type of business you are in, what's your geographic target, who's your target audience etc. For example if you are B2C then Facebook is the best medium whereas for B2B LinkedIn is more fruitful, likewise if you are targeting younger generation go for FB or Twitter depending on Geographic location etc.
The main objective is to determine your target audience and making your spend ... hope this helps :)

tht's depends on the country you are going to target for example if you target egypt facebook is the best channel. if you are targeting Gulf Countries twitter there has more efficiency... but in general YouTube is the best everywhere :D
According to me, Facebook has the best advertising setup mainly due to the analytics and insights connected with the promotional content. I do not consider Google Adwords as a SM channel.
