As a manager, I set up development plans for my employees together with them, respecting their wishes and taking into consideration what I believe their room for improvement may lie. As a manager, I have a manager managing me, so in a way I am an employee ;) and as such I would like to be treated exactly as I am treating my team.

Both options are good because either one way or there way, you will get the benefit. Mostly on the job training are conducted or delivered during working hours. And off the job training are employee takes time off work to attend a local college or training center and they are paid too. So both are a win-win situation either you choose or your management doesn't matter.

Thanks to invite.

Management can decide well in consideration of working scenario. If this right is given to me as an employee than I would like to avail in First half day time.

Normally the working hours starts with starting of the day and in that period every mind stats his/her day with fresh mood. To get the maximum benefits of any training it will be better to conduct the session in first half day of the day.

Both will be good as long as I can increase my knowledge.

It depends in which kind of courses I would take. Some can be taken during working hours. If the management suggests courses for me, it means that my management believes in my potentials and wants to invest in me. In that case I would not refuse that.

I suggest for all professionals to take any training after office hours, because the focus on the session will be effective.
