Hardworking employee deserves good rest specially for those who really tried their best to be at work despite of what weaknesses they are into (and that's job commitment). It is must to consider that everyone gets tired (for different reasons) whatever it is, he or she should rest well.
yes i will and in case i don't have any staff shortage i will ask him/ her to go home and rest for the day...i consider it understanding staff situations and embracing them is a major role of humanity
Thank you for your invite , Any job that does not take into account the humanitarian aspects is unfair, We are human beings we are not machines, If you are unable to find a justification for this diligent worker, certainly I will lose the loyalty of employees and their love , we must not forget we are a humans before to be a business men .

if this person works as hard as mentioned, I'll praise him in front of his team mates, then give him/her the rest of the day off as a reward for hard and good work well done.
- I will tell him to take one hour rest , if that will not affect the work .
- This incident should be recorded in the file , with a verbal warning not to repeat it .
Obviously he might have been very tired hence the sleep and as a hard working employee, i will order him to take the rest of the hours to rest if it will not affect our team if it will, will offer him 3 or 4 hours to rest or reschedule his working hours for effective output
I will have him rest and find a replacemetn for him. Rest is very important to get the best of en employee.
Yes I will because he is having some issues one thing or the other, so will ask him to rest and then get back to work. The person is committed to his work which is really important and must be acknowledged
As per the situation . If the restaurant is not that busy I can allow him to take rest for a while. but if it is really busy I will tel him to wash the face and to be with work.
Building relationship and trust with staff is very important. If you see the employee is sleepy request him to rest. Reason: Occupational risk if the employee is sleepy and might cause injury. Prevention better than cure.
As the owner of the restuarant doesnt mean that only delegation must be done. I'll step in and assist while the employee is taking a break.
