Why the best of projects can be scuttled "ruined" by someone incompetent or who does not have the qualities required for a creator or manager?

An Incompetent Project Manager is like a child in the driver seat steering the car; it’s a recipe for disaster, he can speed up or slow down but at the end he will definitely wreck the car.

Just like the child, an incompetent manager lacks vision, experience, and quick decisions making ability to steer in the right direction and to get safely to the final destination.

However, it’s not only the child to be blame here, but the person who allowed him to sit behind the steering wheel; in this case it’s the HR to be blamed for hiring such an incompetent person.

Incompetency is dangerous in all sectors whether it is planning, scheduling or resourcing. Incompetency itself is a spoiling factor whether it is manager or the team or team member being managed by manager. 

almost nothing good can be expected when someone who can not handle a job is assigned to do so. it is lack of responsibility on the assigners part. but i believe in chances, so if the assigned worker has room for learning and is quick at doing so and possibly has a good past according to the manager, a second chance with more direction and help might just work!

When the concept about a project is not known, when the design and scope specifications is not known

Thanks for the invitation. A Project is made best by the team and its leader who is working on this project otherwise a project is useless if the team members are incompetent. Managing and completing a project is not a piece of cake. It requires competent people who can put in their best of efforts to successfully complete the project.

Incompetent managers doesn`t have  the required skills or the minimum limit of the management knowledge to direct the firm, so his decision would be a random d and not based on a scientific basis .which means that wrong decisions will lead to a rapid  failure for the enterprise
