I like some aspects of this kind of work, such as given space to be free and not limited by time, uncommitted by uniform, flexible hours of work

There are many reasons why you might decide to start working from home, you might want to cut down on commuting time; save money or simply have a desire to spend more time with your family.
If you love your family and family is where the home is, then you will love working at home. I love working at home because I get to see my wife and my kids every day.
To be productive at home is another thing. You have to have some process and some sort of "work ethics" at home. If you want to be productive working home, do this:
