What is Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC), what is the difference between QA & QC
QA is a abbrevation of Quality Assurance and QC is a abbrevation of Quality Controller. first work id QC to Assure the Qualities then Qc control the Qualities
QA is the evaluation, upholding and if neccesary improving of the processes of implementing the QC, QC is the actual perfomance of these processes to assure the correct quality is delivered.
The quality assurance i.e.QA is the process dealing with work acceptance that is conducted basically by an inspector mandated by the Owner Employer .While the quality control QC is usually done by the Contractor's staff or engineers on site when undertaking the construction work .
Quality Assurance:
The act of giving confidence, the state of being certain or the act of making certain.
QA:
The planned and systematic activities implemented in a quality system so that quality requirements for a product or service will be fulfilled.
QualityControl:
An evaluation to indicate needed corrective responses; the act of guiding a process in which variability is attributable to a constant system of chance causes.
QC:
The observation techniques and activities used to fulfill requirements for quality.

QA focuses on preventing defect. Quality Assurance ensures that the approaches, techniques, methods and processes are designed for the projects are implemented correctly. Quality assurance activities monitor and verify that the processes used to manage and create the deliverables have been followed and are operative.
QC and focuses on identifying defect. QC ensures that the approaches, techniques, methods and processes are designed in the project are following correctly. QC activities monitor and verify that the project deliverables meet the defined quality standards.Quality Control is a reactive process and is detection in nature.. It recognizes the defects. Quality Control has to complete after Quality Assurance.
