When selecting what is the weight of academic certificate against experience which is not related to the certificate ?

1. For entry level positions, academic certificate has more significance

2. But for middle & top management, more weightage is given to  "experience" rather than certificates

Weightage of experience and academic qualifications or certification depends on Job requirements and business needs

Work experience is having 80% weight now a days as we all know very less people get the chance to go to the profession they have studied about so i guess companies look for experience than certificates.
